For most startups, business begins in their local market but for many successful startups, business can quickly turn down a global road where entrepreneurs hope to expand their impact and thrive.
Indian venture development firm Commence Mint assists early age startups as they go to market, scale and raise funds through a highly competitive and comprehensive twelve month program. As a successful incubator and accelerator, Commence Mint’s founders can point a finger to a wide array of prosperous Indian based companies hailing from its program.
IgniteHQ is partnering with Commence Mint to extend international opportunity to startups on both continents.
Commence Mint’s India Immersion Program offers a platform for early-stage foreign startups to venture into global markets. India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world with a massive consumer base and the country is ripe for product testing, new market entry and tech talent.
“This is a full immersion program for startups looking to explore India for its tech talent as well as for its market,” said Commence Mint Co-Founder Neha Bahl. “U.S. startups learn about all aspects of the Indian market – from our healthcare system to corporate accelerators operating in India to mentors from all industries,” Bahl added.
If accepted into the India Immersion Program, U.S. startups will attain access to an esteemed network of mentors and advisors, attend master classes, pitch to stakeholders and gain access to a vast pool of tech talent.
In turn, IgniteHQ will offer a U.S. based program for Indian startups looking to break into the American market. The IgniteHQ program will offer peer to peer networking, mentoring, event engagement and pitch opportunities to accepted Indian startups.
“We’re very excited about this new partnership with Commence Mint,” said IgniteHQ President & CEO Mark Hubbard. “Through this exchange we will have the opportunity to showcase Atlant and the Southeast for the Indian startups coming here. In return, IgniteHQ startups will have the opportunity of a lifetime to explore the international market through a successfully tested program,” Hubbard said.
The IgniteHQ and Commence Mint partnership will officially launch in January 2018. Startups wanting to participate in the exchange program will need to apply online. More information is coming soon.
